Laredo

Laredo
We left our little pension, La Mar, which we recommend highly. We walked up to the albergue to get George. He let us know that the albergue was full last night. Off we went thru the beautiful country side. A big problem the Pilgrims have is that there are no coffee bars open until you are practically at your destination. Even George's nose could not find a coffee bar until we reached Liendo.
Highways 634 carried us forward. We were very glad we staid on the highway. One reason because of rain and the second reason came along on a bike. We had met Joe many days before. We were so pleased to say hello again wishing him a happy and health life. He has one of those exceptional happy faces and character. We met several pilgrim along the way from Denmark, France, Germany.
Tourist information circle two available albergues and an inexpensive hotel. We picked a real charmer on Fuentes street.
